Hello friend, you have an amazing blog and even more amazing mixes. I have been trying to compile some tracks/albums produced by the genius William Onyeabor, and I noticed you have an excellent mix/tribute to the man. There are a few amazing LPs not featured in the mix and I was wondering if in the 3 years that have passed you might have acquired them, 1. Dibson and Essody - Justice. (on wilfilms) 2. N'draman Blintch - Hit Track Self-Destruct. (on cosmic sounds) ??? I have tried forever to locate these gems and have failed. Also, is there a discography for Wilfilms and Cosmic Sounds? There could be so many more gems missing... I've also been trying to find an amazing lp by Jik Emmy - Perfect Change. I have lots of wonderful things but not these. And last thing, has there been a legitimate vinyl release compilation of Onyeabors work? Thanks.
hi, all Onyeabor albums are in this tribute concluded. The Blintch tracks are in there as they sound like WO had real influence in this, although it only mentions Recorded at Wilfilms Studio on the back. The other Blintch albums are Harry Mosco productions and so very different in sound.
Sure there is a Wilfilms discography and no there are no real gemms missing (that i know off ;)
There should be an official legitimate vinyl release compilation on the way, ask luakabop.com

Thanks for info, sorry to belabor the point but let me clarify, so youre saying that this LP: http://www.collectorsfrenzy.com/Details.aspx?id=290601550424 is Harry Mosco not William Onyeabor produced? and this LP: http://www.collectorsfrenzy.com/Details.aspx?id=390277658866 is not william onyeabor production either? If not, then I have acquired all the William Onyeabor LPs that I know of (except the 4 track version of crashes in love which happens to be on ebay for auction right now, very tempting...) Thanks again your help is appreciated.
yes that one and passportLP are by Mosco. WLP015 is on Wilfilms so he must have some fingers in there but for me it sounds like Nigerian Boogie Disco with sometimes a crazy bliep (so that could be him:) Looking forward to your Tribute mix
